Offering support to family members while their loved ones transition into memory care can improve both working conditions for your employees and the care experience of residents. I can help you build positive relationships with family care partners by helping you plan and lead a new family orientation as well as ongoing family support group meetings. Packages can be customized to meet your facility's unique needs.

Are you struggling to engage residents in your planned activities? Would you like your activities to bring joy to people at all ability levels?  I will work with your recreation staff to evaluate your current activity calendar and adapt it as needed to meet your current residents' needs. I can also share tips with all care staff to help them connect positively with residents, both during and between planned activities.

Caring for people living with dementia can bring both unique joys and challenges.  I can partner with your care staff in problem solving care challenges and help them learn how to connect with residents in a way that brings moments of joy. These services can be provided in situation specific consultations or group staff meeting discussions covering a variety of dementia care topics. I'm also available to consult during family care planning meetings.
